Okinara’s Covid19 Response Package For Small Businesses in Ontario

As of November 23, Ontario has gone into lock down yet again in response to surging cases of Covid19. The biggest impact of this lock down will be on small businesses. In response to this lock down, we have decided to divert our efforts towards helping small businesses that may be affected by these lock down measures.

Okinara will provide free online store setup for any small business registered in Ontario that has been affected by the Covid19 lock down measures.

Eligibility

• Business must be a registered business in Ontario
• Business must be affected by the November 23, 2020 Covid19 lock down or other general restriction measures
• Priority will be given to regions effected by lock down – for example Toronto and Peel region. Other regions will be considered on a case by case basis
• Priority will be given to businesses that depend highly on seasonal sales. Other industries will be considered on a case by case basis.

Fees

• Free generic online store
• Free SSL certificate for security
• Free hosting for first 3 months – no strings attached. After 3 months you may choose to host with Okinara at a discounted rate or take your website elsewhere – you may keep the website code for free.
• You will need to register your domain name at a domain registrar (most registrars charge under $30)
• Free business consultation on any topics related to e-commerce including but not limited to marketing, security, business restructuring, payment methods and shipping.
• Free email service (2 email addresses with your domain name)
• Optional – pay what you can (suggested amount $200 – $500). You will not be pressured into paying anything.
